Jefa/Garmin autopilot
« on: July 27 2021, 04:05 »
We had the typical pot problem with our autopilot on our 2015 Vision 42. Replaced the pot and re-installed the pilot drive unit. Now, how do you recalibrate it? At the moment it will oscillate between about 15 degrees to port and then to starboard and back and forth. Thanks, Doug

To recalibrate the whole unit there are two menus. Both hidden.
Go to the heading screen.
Press Menu.
Press Setup.
Press System.
Press System Info.
Press and hold the centre soft key for five to 7 seconds.
Press back button twice.
Enter both the wizards for dealer set up and owner setup.

The dealer setup can be done dockside.
The owner setup will need to be done at sea with calm conditions and plenty of room.
