Ev100 autopilot Bav 34 2002

I am upgrading my instruments as they come up for renewal. At the weekend the ST4000+ Went the distance and I want to replace it with an EV100 system.

Are these compatible with the older Remaining ST series instruments.

Also who has experience of fitting these on A 2002 Bav 34 …., where did you fit the gyro sensor and the connection/box controller.

Yes, your existing head will control it but you may not be able to integrate with your chartplotter best call Raymarine with exactly what you want to do. The gyro is often mounted under the chart table or in the starboard aft cabin hanging locker. The control box on the longitudinal bulkhead in the aft cabin.
