Engine Failed to Start
« on: July 27 2021, 05:03 »
hi

1. Recently, one of the boat windows got leaked and we had heavy rains for days.

2. The hull bottom got wet including the battery compartment (1 inch, the connector area were dry fortunately).

3. After drying up and every thing electrical seems working fine. Except the engine, when we tried to start we heard the starter sound but the engine did NOT start up.  Any clues? Should I try to connect the starter to the house  battery to see whether the engine work?

Often caused by low starter battery, so try bridging it.
