Jabsco Accumulator Tank B32
« on: May 16 2021, 12:26 »
I have a Jabsco Par-max 2.9 domestic water pump, on turning off a tap the pump runs on to fill the bladder in the accumulator tank as normal.
I understand what should happen is that on opening a tap the pump should remain off for a couple of seconds before it kicks in. On my B32 the pumps starts immediately on opening. I have tried adjusting the pressure on the tank and have now installed a new tank but still have the same result.
       Any ideas please.

Did you pump the accumulator up to the nominal pressure (printed on it, usually around 1 bar)?

The second pump I installed was factory set.

No, I think Yngmar ment you need to periodically prime the accumulator itself to about 15 psi or 1 bar, otherwise it won't do its job......There is a valve, a bit like a bike tyre valve you can use to pump it up, then it should work fine...
