Selden bowsprit for cruising chute

Good morning all,

To use our cruising chute I want to fit one of the below. Has anyone done this? Any photos of the install over the bow roller? What diameter would you suggest for a Bav 40?

I'd also consider the Batsystem bow platform - very popular in Sweden, practically every boat has one and it does the job of a bowsprit (amongst others) :)
