Hi Folks
Would the Selden 72mm Medium Telescopic Pole 072-072-61 be ok for a Bavaria 34 for use of poling out the genoa or using the cruising chute

For poling out the whole Genoa in light airs, your pole at maximum extension should be about as long as the L/P measure of your Genoa. That's 150% on the J&J Bavarias. Too short and you won't get maximum effect DDW or have to partially furl the sail.
The table above also has a boat displacement value as guidance for sizing. Based on that the medium one should be about right, but check the length above.
