Propellers
« on: July 26 2020, 10:30 »
Hello. I have a 3 fixed blade propeller for sale that I carried as a spare on my 2003 Bavaria 38 with Volvo 2030 and 130 saildrive. I don't know its full size but it appears to be 15 inch diameter.

It is painted with hard antifoul and which has come away in some places. Otherwise, looks good. (see photos). I guess its worth £100?

I now have a smaller boat with prop shaft and am looking for a 15 x 11 3 blade, right hand, 25mm, 1.10 taper propeller to carry as spare. Happy to buy or trade.

It's stamped 15 x 12 L. Unfortunately it also looks like there's something wrong with the rubber boss? The boss should not be crooked like it seems to be in the first photo.

Yangmar is correct about the prop size but incorrect about the boss.

This is perfectly good propeller.

It’s the shadow cast across the boss that makes it look wrong in the first photo.
