Jefa Tiller Size
« on: February 16 2020, 13:36 »
I'm ordering all the gubbins for my Evo autopilot and making the assumption that the age of the boat precludes the fitment in the binnacle (Whitworth Steering pedastal) so am looking at the Type 1 arm.

For this I need to procure a tiller arm to fit on the rudder shaft - can anyone either give me a part number or the shaft dimension and some idea what size arm to get?

Bavaria 36 - circa 2002/3

If you look at the Jefa website you should be able to find a dimensioned drawing of your rudder.  Jefa sell tiller arms too.

Yeah it was the Jefa site that prompted my question about the rudder stock diameter.

You need to look at the Spare Parts section on Jefa's website, then find your boat, then look at the rudder drawing to find the stock size.
