Seldon in mast furling system

Is there any preventative maintenance that I should be performing end of season for the curling system?

Hi! Mainsail out washed and packed , the pulleys of the outhaul covered for Uv protection , fresh water to the drum attached to the must and then grease , grab with your hand the shaft inside the mast if is stiff enough ( maybe you notice that on anchor and some waves make the must bang like a bell cause of that ) if it is loose take the manual and look how to adjust the tension

Elias, exactly where on the drum to you apply grease? I can't see an obvious grease point. Is it hidden within the mast? Will I need the remove the drum assembly?

You can download the service manual from the Selden website.
