Broad reach jib sheet attachment point?

On my 2001 Bavaria 40 AC, I am trying to determine if there is a better way to sheet the jib sheet, when going deep downwind.

When using the single jib sheet tracks/cars, the active jib sheet keeps on rubbing against the life lines when sailing on a broad reach. Ideally, there would be a way to attach the sheet to a block out by the toe rail, but there are no attaching point on the toe rail, as it is.

Has anyone found a good way to eliminate the jib sheet rubbing against the life lines? Attaching a block on the mid ships cleat perhaps?

Midships cleat, or perhaps even aft cleat. We live with the lifeline rubbing, it doesn't seem to do either any harm. Using a three-point fixated pole also eliminates any movement on longer downwind runs.

Alternatively, you might consider putting a length of cable tidy around the lifelines like a sleeve. It'll just roll around the wire like a loose roller. I use them on my outer shrouds for when the jib is sheeted hard in.. e.g. https://www.screwfix.com/p/philex-cable-tidy-black-2-x-2m/62303 . Cheaper than a block and strop.
