Hi, did you manage to trace one? I have a 5605 and want to do a straight swap upgrade to an AIS capable unit, but nobody has old stock of the 5607 anywhere, and no second hand units seem to be about. If you found one I'd be keen to know if you've located a source. Thanks.

I have a Navman 5607, perhaps I will sell it next year with a lot of maps. There is one for sale at: ebay-kleinanzeigen. de. Look for : Kartenplotter North Star 567, it's the same! Only 79€!

Another alternative for a cheap chartplotter with integrated AIS could be the Onwa KP39A.  To feed the Navman with AIS data you need the special y-cable, which is hard to find and perhaps pricey!
