Apologies in advance for what will be clear to everyone else bar me... but what does the 'Heating Pump' switch do exactly? (2006 Bav 30)
For the first time last weekend I tried mains water heating and it worked great - but couldn't find exactly what role this switch plays?

Cabin heating, typically forced air diesel heater, sometimes also hydronic. Look around for a Webasto or Eberspächer (Espar in the US) control panel.

Thanks Yngmar - dim of me...
My Webasto was retro fitted and works from its own switch alone.
I'd never considered this particular switch before, and now realise that on my panel it doesn't actually have a function.
