Fitted 2 new solar panels (300W each) without an arch, only with standard fittings and 30mm stainless tubes. Panels have a aluminium frame from 40x40x4mm L-shaped profile.
Connected it via victron mppt solar regulator with the house batteries.
Works really fine, the energy consumption every night will be topped up until 11 am (we are in the med) .
So we can save many hours of running the engine to charge the batteries and have always a cold beer
.
Fitted a 1500W sine inverter, and operate many standard equipment (espresso machine, watercooker, tools,..) now on 230V AC and save gas.
Will replace house batteries to lifepo next year.
