I just purchased a new heat exchanger (existing one on last legs due to internal corrosion).
I'm looking at some specialist surface protection materials to try and protect it before it's initial use.
I came across this.
http://www.belzona.co.uk/en/products/1000/1341.aspxIt seems perfect but I'm not sure of the heat exchangers max operating temperature. Max for this product is 60c.
Would anyone happen to know what the internal surface temp would be when operating at it's hottest with the sea water flowing through?
A car engine runs at 90c, it must be close to that I suppose? I've never even given a thought at what these run at?
Thanks
