I was going to fit above to my bav 38 2003 , thought about fitting magnetically shielded waterproof speakers low down port and starboard on pedastal (to bounce sound of cockpit sides ) with thought too that they wont upset compass there and easy cable run .

had intended to put vhf speaker on panel , but will this upset compass .

anyone done this or have any advice , many thanks  in anticipation

We have a speaker for the vhf fitted to the forward bulkhead of the cockpit, just to the side of the companionway.  Been there for 3 years now and seems to work just fine.  Bit of a fiddle running the wires to it but otherwise not a problem.
