Helmans seat
« on: July 29 2018, 11:29 »
I lost the helmans seat (B39 2005), it just take off without even a noise and I had to buy a new one (I spect to recover part of the money from the insurance). The new seat come from Bavaria with the hooks included but they are not attached to the seat. How are they  attached?. Using through screws or lag screws? The lateral wall of the seat is very thin (5 mm).  Someone can send me a picture of the original assembly?

Drill a hole in the seat and put a rope through it and attach the other end of the rope to the boat.  You won't lose it if it is tied on.
