electric head and shower pump isolating switch
« on: June 03 2018, 10:32 »
Under the sink we have a switch which provides power to the head or alternatively to the shower sump pump. The head and the pump also have individual push switches to activate them.

Is there any good reason for the isolating switch? I was thinking of doing away with it as it adds another point of failure (as happened recently whether would not activate). The only reason I can think of is to stop both the head and pump being activated at the same time but that would be highly unlikely.

Any thoughts?
