Platform actuators
« on: March 06 2017, 10:29 »
Hi All

As many others I have troubles with the bathing platform and the electric actuators :-(
I did get 2 new  actuators but even these will not work unloaded, so problem must be the controller, it stops due to to high amp. load.

On this control box there is some dib switch, anyone know the settings for these or have a manual?

Regards
Poul Bak

IMHO these actuators are hopeless and only a waste of good money!
Use a line to lift the platform.
German over enginering of the worst kind.

So true, so true.
but they have worked and I set my mind to get them to work again.
Hope that I can raise the amp. limit by these dip switche

I have recently just rebuilt two of these actuators and set them up on my Bav 34 they are now working perfectly, finally.
Are you aware of the correct setup procedure for them i.e. run them out to the point they cutout and then attach them to the swim platform by adjusting the eyelet and the other end ?
They are left and right specific.
Make sure they are waterproof , particularly the port one , as the circuit board is lower on that one.
PM me your questions.

HI

Thank you for you reply.
I repeated the procedure once more yesterday, without any luck :-(
I seems to go well lowering the platform but raising it is no go, have to force it manual.

I belive that it something that id related to replacement op actuators, therefore I'm want to have more information of the controlbox.

Hi Guy's

I have recived a officiel answer from Bavaria, very nice.
My model is 1,27 and not 1,52 as the guide is for, but i did some trails and setting 0110 works perfekt.
My platform is now working again :-)

I have attach the info from Bavaria.

Best regards

Does it still working with the 0110-config? right now my engines are stuck, the controlbox flashes red... anyone that knows why? https://1drv.ms/f/s!AoHZqidN96CWg_tjJ-XmlU1HvJD1rA

This works really well! No dip switch settings either. ;)
