Checked www.myyacht.com.au here in OZ and they have the latches for AUD $20. I don/t know what freight would be though. I have nothing to do with the company but believe they are located in Sydney. They have a sub menu for Bavaria yacht parts.

Hey all,

Our oven door latch cracked and therefore stopped working a few weeks ago. We are in Mexico, so can't easily order a replacement. We went to a local metalworking shop and had a new latch made ($5!) but they lost the screw that went with it. Does anyone have a photo or the size (length, width) of the screw that goes with it? We tried buying a few random little screws, but none of them work. *sigh*

#8 wire make a great hook on the oven handle and is easy to replace! If anyone is interested I can take a photo of it :)

We gave up looking for a latch and just use a bit of bungy cord while underway !

Ok! We found the screw for the latch! Check out the pics of the new latch we had made here in Mexico.
