Lewmar handle broke off
« on: May 30 2017, 07:33 »
One of the 2 handles of a Lewmar hatch is broken off. Did anybody had the same problem and was able to glue it? Which glue did you use?

Tried to glue the handle with an epoxy, but didn't work.

I don't believe any sort of glue would work; you need a new handle.

I just got the message of the Lewmar tech support (after waiting 14 days!!!): "The glue that is used to fix these handles is a Plexus MA310."

Too late, I ordered a new acrylic ....
