Bavaria 38 Holding Tank position
« on: July 16 2012, 14:07 »
I have a 1997 Bavaria 38 Holiday - 3 cabin 2 heads option and want to fit a waste holding tank. Can anybody tell me that best place to fit a tank and what size can be fitted??

On a 38 it's fitted in the port aft heads wet locker, and it's a 60 lt tank, plastic, without a pump out option.

Straight through pump from heads to tank with seacock shut off valve, this holds until you release when out at sea.

Photo shows door of locker right side of photo.

I have a 2000 Bavaria 38 and the holding tank is below the aft seat just in front of the Nav table with the outlet and macerator pump on the starboard side.It is made of stainless steel and has an access panel in the top .Also there is a  pump out facility on the starboard deck(never used)
