Volvo Penta D1-20 EVC manual
« on: January 08 2017, 06:52 »
Does anyone have access to the EVC manual from Volvo? Or better still, does anyone know what the wiring layout is for the fuel sender to EVC control box on the side of the engine?

The issue in detail.... I have a faulty fuel sender which probably needs replacing. I also have a Raymarine NMEA interface which sends engine data to the Raymarine chart plotter. That all works well. However, the control box on the side of the engine has sockets for FUEL LEVEL and AUX which are empty. In order to send the fuel level information to the chart plotter, does there have to be a cable for here TO the fuel sender and if so, where does the cable that is already on the sender go to and does the fuel gauge then become redundant?

I'm sure it all sounds complicated but I bet the answer is simply a cable from Volvo.
