Bav44 boat length

I am in the process of buying a Bav44 in the Med and am looking for a marina berth. One marina claims that this boat measures over 14m and not the 13.95m stated in the boat spec. This "extra metre" in length equates to a significant hike in the annual berth rates. Has anyone actually measured one of these boats?

Most marinas will accept the ships papers as proof of lenghth 13.95m.  I have read though that the hull is the same length as a 46 which came later. I have only heard of one place where they will put you up against a wall and measure you.
