There is an enormous choice of batteries of all sorts and hundreds of potential suppliers. Asking for battery suppliers is UK is like asking if there are any fish and chips shops.

Just google for national mail order suppliers or do a local search for local suppliers.

If they are original fit you need to ensure that replacements have the bottom ridge to fit the clamps . I got a replacement 4 yrs ago at Sandy Point Garage Hayling island, Very helpful people they used to supply Opal Marine the original Dealers. Give them a ring. Mine was a  Bosch  T4076 140 amp

Hi

I might be good option to choose some leisure (deep cycle) option.
Original Bavaria batteries are typically normal starter models.

Something like

Or Bosch  L5075  (L5 series)   If it still available..

Please note.    Exide, Bosch

About 10 years ago I replaced my 2x140 amp house batteries with 4x110amp leisure batteries, the 4 fit the same footprint as the 2. They are MUCH lighter and are much more readily available. They are a little taller but no problem. Geoff

I meant to add that I have just replaced them after 9 or 10 years. I found what I wanted at leisurebatteries4less.  £75 a pop. Geoff

I was not keen on the original clamps, so for my 4x110amp I made a simple/ stout bar across the top of the batteries and under the locker sides. An 18 mm ply upstand prevents lateral movement. Geoff

I have just placed on board two 140amp Varta LFD140.  They replace two Banner originally installed by Bavaria, this were in fact 135amp starter batteries and although they worked was not really built for the service battery job.  Also starter batteries have base clamps.  Like others I have put a timber beading around the base and a clamp across the top.  These new batteries are sealed and don't need ventilation hoses either.  I went to Tayna but actually got them locally in Torquay for the same price and the next day.
