Bavaria crash test and foam core inspection
« on: April 27 2016, 21:46 »
If you've always wanted to know what your hull and deck core look like (the green stuff is Divinycell foam), have a look: https://full.pr0gramm.com/2016/04/26/5e2227a8612ce8b7.jpg

Link was sent to me on IRC, without source or any other information - don't ask me what happened (although it seems fairly obvious).

Can anyone identify the model?

Ouch ouch ouch....best he stays on that starboard tack and that was where he was at when hit ?
Happened to me in Neiafu, Tonga during the Friday pm harbour race. Got T boned by a Nicholson 31. He rode up over my foredeck, damaged my toerail but ripped his forestay out complete with stem head fitting. After the race I waited in vain for an apology though I was starboard and OP on port !
This happened on my Australian Swanson 36, tough as...Would not like similar on my B42 ?
