Panoramic windows
« on: May 05 2016, 06:05 »
The panoramic windows above the saloon on my Bavaria 42 Cruiser (2006) are leaking (seemingly through the rubber seals). Can replacement seals be acquired and who would stock them ?  I haven't  been able to trace them on Lewmar's or Rutergerson's websites. If not, is there anything that can be used as an alternative to the factory seals ?

What about trying Eaglewindows, they have been around for a while and may be able to help

Hi we have a 2005 42 Cruiser and earlier this season, also had a leak, I checked the outside bolts and in the leak area they were loose. So I tightened them up not with a lot of force but enough to snug them up and voila no leaks ;D. Cant hurt to try before you go replacing the seals.
Cheers
