LED lighting
« on: April 17 2016, 17:19 »
I have fitted LED lighting to the inside and outside of Impavidus.

It was really quite easy, (other than taking a cable from one side of the boat to the other)
I had some LED waterproof lighting bars left over from a contract we worked on, so I fitted them in the saloon and under the cockpit table. In the saloon they are controlled by remote with a controller from Maplins, and power comes from a spare switch on the panel.  Outside I used a waterproof controller and took a feed from the table lamp.

We can set the brightness and change the colours from one of 16 or have them flashing / sinking for those 70?s disco nights. They are great for night sailing in the saloon when set to red.
