Can anyone help please . I have removed the D130S  3 bladed folding propeller from the saildrive to clean and re grease the splined shaft.
I was advised this should be done each year together with checking the sacrificial anodes.

There is a large nut which I think is the propeller fixing nut and then a smaller bolt which goes through the centre of the nut and shaft thread with a locking tab. I assume this is purely to prevent the large nut from coming undone.
I have searched but failed does anybody know the torque settings of these nuts and bolts please . And would it be sensible to put on with loctite or similiar thread locking liquid.

Regards Tony

Thanks Tony and Baltic, that's very timely advice. A few years back I bought a second hand two blade Volvo folding prop and have just decided to fit it. Although slightly different from the one shown in Baltic's reference, I'm sure that the basics remain the same.
