Converting to german sheeting system

I am looking at converting my main sheeting system to the german sheeting system, and would be grateful for any pictures of how the sheets are routed along the deck, and how the first block is attached to the decl (or shroud base) after it leaves to boom. I have seen the websites of selden etc and their proprietary equipment, but it doesn't really help for the specifics of my 2006 B37cr.

All help & comments would be much appreciated.

Thank you Lyra, I was hoping to see some Bavaria installs as well. I am trying to avoid additional deck fittings that will increase chance of stubbing toes, and reduce passage way along decks.

Hi Konan,

I would not recommend attaching the first block to the shroud base as this will increase the load on this critical point. The chain plates are designed to carry the mast and shroud loadings. Adding the upward and inward force of hte turning blocks would not be good. On the B40 2009 there is a pad eye or saddle attached to teh deck behind the chainplates with the turning block attached to this. The block is positioned so the mainsheet runs outside the jib track. Sorry I do not have a photo.
