Bavaria 46 Upper forestay attachment failure
« on: October 20 2015, 18:06 »
I have just come across the notice from Seldon requiring the replacement of the upper forestay attachment point due to welding failure.

I am trying to get a feeling for how urgently this needs to be attended to.  Any further or more detailed information would be appreciated.  Also peoples experiences dealing with Selden, as in how helpful were they?  What would they pay for?

I would not sail the boat if it has the suspect fitting.

Even thouugh this is from 2011, it is going in Announcements; some may not have seen it.
