Rudder information
« on: July 30 2015, 13:31 »
Can anyone point me towards information on how the rudder assembly is fitted to a Bav 39 (2008). Details on the bearings , seals and adjustments would be great. A cut away drawing would be even better. Thanks

You'll find the information on the Jefa website.  Most technical info is on a separate site (ftp.jefa.com) - look for "old boat spare parts", then follow the navigation to find the Bavaria 39 info.

Link ftp://ftp.jefa.com

If asked for username and password, use jefa for both.

Link ftp://ftp.jefa.com

If asked for username and password, use jefa for both.

I found that typing the link as you've shown it doesn't work, whereas if you type the link I gave in post #2 (ftp.jefa.com), the browser automatically inserts the first "ftp//" and the page loads.
