Cockpit table pedestal vision 42
« on: July 01 2019, 04:32 »
I own a vision 42 (2015) which I recently purchased.  The cockpit table is manual and height adjustable, however the pedestal has developed an issue where it will not fully fall to its lowest point and be level with the surrounding seats.  Something inside the pedestal appears to be blocking the  pedestal from falling. Has anyone encountered this issue and been able to fix the problem short of removing the whole pedestal.

I have a V46 with manual cockpit table. It gets "stiff" to lower every 6 months or so and difficult to get all the way down even kneeling with my whole weight on it.

I have now cleaned and lubricated it more regularly. Not sure if this is your problem but I would try cleaning and lubricating first. Use a light oil or a PTFE type lube like McLube.
