Cabin lights

Another maintenance job complete,  the lights in saloon are heliguen lamps but on measuring each one was drawing .75 amps, and the switches are crap.
So fitted larger fitting LED much better drawings .01amps for each fitting.

Why do this, when sailing for long periods and through the night as no solar power, i run out of battery power so every saving is a bonus.

Found them on ebay, had a unit running at home over winter,  they seem ok.

However I have some questions:
How is the unit mounted to the ceiling? is the frame removable and screws underneath?
Your current reading seem a bit too low. 10 mA per fitting? that equates to 0.12W (spec of the unit says 5W, but the Chinese vendors on Ebay are not know for the accurate specs)

Readings are from my BM1 battery monitor, the plate needs minor mods to allow wiring through, screws to deckhead same as original lights.
