Stack Pack Dimensions
« on: February 22 2019, 10:08 »
Hi folks.

Just come back from the boat and forgot a very important bit of paper to measure my stackpack...
Is there anyone on board (B36 2002) or alternativly perhaps you had one made that I could steal the dimensions?

The only one I can remember is that the boom is about 4m from the gooseneck to the black line, which suggests that a 4.5m stackpack from C&J might be ok, but its a risk!

I have a measuring sheet if anyone is onboard and could help out a forgetful idiot!

Thanks!

Oo

Can't help with the measurement, but the CJ stackpack is very basic and for similar money you could get a custom made one with better features. Not all stack packs are the same and it is well worth looking at alternate suppliers. My suggestion would be Kemp Sails who will almost certainly have made one for your model boat. Of course there are other equally good sailmakers, but guess the message is that it is better to have a custom made one than an off the shelf.
