Bavaria 44 propeller size

I lost the propeller off my Bavaria 44 over the weekend, it was a 3 blade fixed sail drive aluminum, I never knew the size co's I have only just purchased the yacht and am having some difficulty trying to find out what size the lost propeller was, I would be grateful if any one on this forum could advise what size the propeller would have been furthermore I am in the market for a 2nd hand propeller the same as I lost - I intend to carry a spare

If your engine is about 50/55 hp the prop will be about  17x13 or 17x 14 lh  Geoff

Hi Anegada,

I have a 2007 42' Cruiser and its propeller is 18 X 15, so I would imagine yours would be similar.

Volvo Penta dealers have a program to calculate the correct size.
