Hi Nigel,

I've tried numerous times to download the Volvo D1/D2 Workshop Manual and it hangs my browser after downloading about half the file. All the other downloads work fine. Is there a link to the file location I could use?

Thanks, Doug

Hello,

You got lucky!
Here you have the Bavaria 38 Ocean - Manual for owners and skippers.

Tell me what engine has your 38 Ocean, to see if I can help you.

Greetings from Spain.

Hello Everyone,

I’d kindly ask if you have any manual for the 2007 Vision 44 with VolvoPenta D2-55D engine, and would be so kind to upload it for me? I’ve tried several times to get in contact with the Bavaria, but no answer...
Thank you so much in advance,
Peter

Hello,

I'm sorry I can not help you; I do not have any documents related to your boat and its engine.

Greetings, good sea and better wind.

I am afraid it did not work again.
I am out of station now, I shall try again when back home after 10 days.
Cheers

Hello Escapade,
Just bought a BAVARIA 35 E (in Pornichet, France). Do you still have the owner's manual in pdf format?
Do you know the "Catégorie de conception" (CE certification) ?
merci,
Benjamin

Bonjour Benjamin
I will mail you the owner's manual in french and a brochure in English.
This is what I have available.
Furthermore here is a picture of a plate fixed near the electrical panel from the original Bavaria importer where you can read 1ere cat. As CE started in 1998 our boats still bear the older classification.
However 1ere was the highest class at the time, I assume to be equivalent to the present category A.
Cordialement

Your boat was built before the RCD was introduced so does not have a CE category. However boats of that size and type would have been built to a similar standard in terms of stability as later boats in Category A. However they would not have met CE Cat A completely as there are many other factors such as equipment, testing and Quality Assurance that are also required to be certified.

This is no different from any other pre 1998 boat and in practice has no real effect on the functional capability of the boat as designed and originally built.

Just became the proud owner of a Bavaria cruiser 55, with little to no documentation...  :(

Looking for the cabling schematics and other forms of manuals,  anyone?
